It takes only 3 minutes to switch colors!
Changing colors used to take about 15-20 minutes to complete due to the extensive cleaning and the time needed for dust to settle. Now it averages about 2-3 minutes with minimum disruption to the operation. This means that we can now offer a whole suite of premium workstation color options in our QUICKSHIP program. Studies have shown that colors not only affect our mood, but also impact our productivity. BOSTONtec also offers custom colors to match your brand. BOSTONtec has equipped several world-class distribution centers and manufacturing operations with ergonomic work benches in branded colors, helping support worker engagement. Improved ergonomics and productivity
As an ergonomic solution provider, we use ergonomic principles to evaluate our own operations for opportunities to improve employee well-being and productivity. The new booth is 9 feet wide. It can hold two operators at one time working comfortably along each other. It gives them ample room especially when they coat large parts. No more poor posture and extreme body movements to get the job done. The booth also sits lower to the ground to allow the painters better access to longer parts. It has clear polycarbonate roof and access doors and five built-in mounted light fixtures for excellent lighting. An ergonomically optimized setup is essential to the quality of paint work.
High-end paint quality and cleaner environment
The conveyor hooks run outside of the new booth and are less likely to attract powder. In addition, the double grounding bar will allow hooks to make additional contact for better transfer efficiency.
The incorporated fluidized hopper system technology vibrates the powder inside the hopper as it feeds into the tube and out from the paint gun. It eliminates the peaks and valleys in charges which cause the imperfections. It will allow us to have an even more consistent paint quality.
The new booth’s efficient dust collection system makes sure that the powder which doesn’t hit the parts is drawn into a hopper outside the booth instead of landing on conveyor line and inside the cure oven to contaminate the finished parts. It also improves the air quality and cleanness throughout the paint room and the neighboring shop floor.
