Ball Transfers

Fixed Ball Transfers

FBT01

  • Omni-directional.
  • Loads in excess of 1000 lbs in grids.
  • Load rating, 33 lbs per ball.
  • Ball diameter, 1".
  • Stainless Steel Main Ball.

Fixed Ball transfers mount in standard high density core board worksurfaces and simplify the moving of heavy loads. Each ball transfer is a self contained unit capable of supporting 33 lbs. When configured in a pattern they can support loads in excess of 1000 lbs. Loads should be carried on pallets made of a strong smooth material. A variety of ball patterns are available to accommodate different tasks.

Retractable Ball Transfers

RBT01

  • Omni-directional.
  • Loads in excess of 1000 lbs in grids.
  • Load rating, 10-30. lbs per ball.
  • Ball diameter, 1".
  • Ball retracts .065 below flange.
  • Operates on 50 p.s.i. (filtered, regulated, or
    lubricated).

Retractable Ball transfers are designed to mount in standard high density core board worksurfaces and simplify the moving of heavy loads. Each ball transfer is a self contained unit capable of lifting 10 to 30 lbs. When assembled in a pattern they can support loads in excess of 1000 lbs. Balls can be controlled by either a foot or hand switch. Loads should be carried on pallets made of a strong smooth material. A variety of ball patterns are available to accommodate different tasks. Consult your local representative for assistance in configuring a ball pattern for your application.

Ball Transfer Patterns

Individual ball transfers, fixed or retractable, can be arranged in a variety of patterns to support a specific material transfer application. Ball transfers are designed to transfer loads on a flat bottom pallet. In each application it's important to know the pallet type, size, load weight, and desired motion to design the ball transfer pattern correctly. The following are examples of possible patterns. Contact your dealer, or the factory for assistance in designing a specific pattern.

Example A
Balls configured to move object on from the left or right, rotate during task, and move off to the left or right.

Example B
Balls configured to move object on from the left, rotate during task, and move off to the left.

Example C
Balls configured to move object on from the left or rear, rotate during task, and move off to left or rear.

Example D
Balls configured to move object on from the left, or right, and move off to the right or left.

Example E
Balls configured to move object on from the left or rear, and move off to left or rear.

Example F
Balls configured to move large heavy object, or cardboard boxes on from the left or right, and off to the right or left
